Shaylee and Evan: Steve Jobs

For your comments on Presentations:

First, write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?  Be specific, and use a specific example from the Presentation and your notes.

Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Be specific.

  1. I liked the facts that you gave about him. Like I didn't know that he ripped off his friend and bussiness partner of thousands of dollars. I would say that it felt like it was a little too long to keep me interested the entire time.

  2. I enjoyed the presentation, and I never knew that Jobs was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. I find it astonishing that he would shrug off the doctor's orders which had very serious consequences. I remember you mentioned that he got a liver transplant, but I don't remember you stating who specifically gave it to him.

  5. You guys did a great job! I found it compelling that when he dropped out of college he snuck into classes to get the information needed to create his business. You were very well informed on your topic and he had a huge influence on youth.

  6. I think your presentation was very good all around. You guys did a great job explaining what everything was and how it was used in today's society. You had lots of intresting facts about him and his work which really kept you presntation intresting. I thought you could have talked a little bit more about who Steve Job in case someone didn't know who he was

  7. You guys did very good, I learned so much about Steve jobs and what he did. It's crazy to me that he refused to be cured of cancer. I thought it was a little bit long.

  8. I liked how you guys covered all of his inventions, and things he had created for us. The comparison with Tesla was spot on. The only thing I would suggest would be you guys could have sped up the presentation instead of saying things multiple times.

  9. This presentation had many interesting points about Steve Jobs. I particularly liked the ones about his affair with adobe and his choice not to try and overcome his cancer. However, a lot of this presentation felt like it was more about Apple as a company rather than about Steve Jobs himself. Other times it did feel as if you were reading straight off the powerpoint. Nevertheless, you both still did a great job.
