Jussett and Regan: Ellen Degeneres

For your comments on Presentations:

First, write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?  Be specific, and use a specific example from the Presentation and your notes.

Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Be specific.

  1. Your presentation was great. I had no idea how much Ellen donates, she is truly an amazing woman. You were very well informed on the topic with specific facts and examples about her donations. There were no major criticisms as you guys did an amazing job, but there was also some casual language such as "whatever, like, and stuff" but we all tend to do that. Overall wonderful presentation! I learned a lot about Ellen.

  2. You guys did a good job of explaining to me who Ellen is. After this presentation, I feel most people would have a good understanding of Ellen's life and why she is famous. One thing that could be better is you could have taken more creative risks to make the presentation more exciting. Ellen Degeneres has such a fun, bubbly, and exciting personality as a talk show host, but your presentation felt more like a Wikipedia article. The presentation as a whole was still good and very informative.

  3. Your presentation was very good, had lots of details. Your hand out was very easy to read through and follow. I learned a lot about how much to helps out other people in the world and the amount of money she donates. One thing I would do better if i was you is to add more about who Ellen is.

  4. You guys did a great job on your presentation, explained very well. I wasn't aware how much money Ellen really donated and the cover girl story was my favorite. Some constructive Critism is maybe you could talk about Ellen a bit more.

  5. You guys did a great job of explaning how much Ellen does on the side of being on the show. The only thing I could think of that could have been more polished was what Ellen actually talks about on the show itself.

  6. I'd say the most interesting thing I learned from this presentation was that Ellen was in Finding Nemo. I never knew that, and I think that's awesome! One thing is maybe some more detail to Ellen's show? I believe that's what she's most known for, so maybe some context would help?

  7. I found that how much she is involved with the World and community, the most interesting. I wasn't aware of how much she actually donates and gives away. I figured it was just to make herself look like a really good person, but you guys showed me that she sincerely means the stuff she does.

  10. I liked the presentation. I love watching Ellens show everyday. I knew she helped people but I didn't know she did that much for everyone. I think you guys could have spoke a bit louder.
