Journal Two: Our First Blog Post

             Hello, my name is Chloe; my fun fact was that I graduated high school at 16 yrs old.

I graduated from Harding high school in Marion, Ohio. I turned 17 a month after graduation, and I am the first one in my family to attend college. I am majoring in early childhood education in hopes of working in the inpatient unit at children's hospital upon graduation. 

                  Upon reading the house on mango street I infer that the child is living in a poverty stricken community, while she states they move multiple times due to poor foundation rates. She also expresses how her family has told her siblings and her of a beautiful house they will once own and live in, only to find out they will be moving into a small house with one bathroom and bedroom containing 6 people.
